New PPP Program Gets National Media Attention

Play Per Play

Seems this new “PPP” revolution is starting to get some national press coverage.

Pay-Per-Play (PPP) is the web’s newest and fastest growing form of advertising. Those 5 second audio only ads by V2P Communications was recently mentioned in The Wall Street Journal in an article titled, New Services Help Bloggers Bring in Ad Revenue.

They say PPP is a new tool for 2008 and is geared toward more monetization of your websites. They also have stated that the advertiser will be paying at least $14 per 1,000 plays… of which… the publisher is paid 25% of this. That equates to a consistent $3.50 CPM rate if their figures are correct and much higher than what most of us are earning elsewhere.

So with my sucky CTR rates and smart-priced web sites, I figured why not give them a shot. There is nothing to lose and just maybe these ads will add some profit to the bottom line.

These ads play a one-time 5 second audio ad and take up only a 1 pixel spot on your page… AND no clicks are necessary to earn money.

But I also remember some very annoying audio banners, such as the emoticons (Oh MY GOD) and ipod (NO… we didn’t win anything either). Maybe audio ads are becoming commonplace anymore. I really don’t know as I usually surf with the volume turned down anyway.

Webmasters looking to make some extra cash and are interested in cashing in on 100% of their website traffic with this new PPP opportunity can find more information here:
